Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2009, Callum and I took part in the Manchester Minithon to raise money for Mediquip4Kids and FC United of Manchester. Callum had suffered a severe break in his left leg and was only just out of plaster. Despite this we completed the 7k route (with him on my shoulders), raising over £300 for the Mediquip4Kids charity and FC United.

FC United's chosen charity this year is The Frost Foundation.

“The Frost Foundation is a new children’s charity that has been established to provide support to children in the local area. Whether a child needs a specialised wheelchair, a kids project needs some extra funding or the children’s hospital requires some specialised equipment – if we know about it we will endeavour to help.  Through our past efforts in fundraising for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital we recognized a need for a foundation that could help to support both individuals and groups that struggle to attain the funding they need.”

This year’s Minithon took place on Sunday October 17^{th. Callum set off sprinting from the start and I lost him after about 1km. He was sat waiting for me at the end having finished a good 6-7 minutes before me, never stopping during the 7k run.}
