I’m 51 now, the same age as Des was when he was suffering from Vasculitis, and I’m running the Great North Run to raise funds for Vasculitis UK. They help support those suffering from Vasculitus and their families and also fund research to help find a cure for this little known disease.

Vasculitis is a rare inflammatory disease which affects about 2-3000 new people each year in the UK. There are several different types of vasculitis, Des suffered from one that belongs to the group known as Primary Systemic Vasculitis (PSV), which has no known cause and no cure. Des died in 2007 at the age of 56, please help me raise as much money as possible so that we can help other families who are suffering now. Thank you.
