Hello, I am Martin Harrison and welcome to my JustGiving page! 

I, along with Mike Holmes and Tom Roberts, and backup support from Alan Cobbald and John Schofield are fundraising for Reach Beyond – a Christian charity that aims to be the voice and hands of Jesus through creative media, healthcare and community development, such as water projects and medicine.

We plan to cycle the whole length of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, a total of 127 miles and I hope that you will sponsor us and help us reach our fundraising goal.

On the way we will pass by 90 locks (hence the association with Reach Beyond’s 90 birthday!) and the journey will take us two days.

Despite a stormy start to the week the weather is looking good later on in the week, so we will be heading out early in the morning on Friday 8th October, aiming to finish by late Saturday afternoon in Leeds.

We are fundraising for Reach Beyond because this ministry has some fantastic projects around the world that could grow and develop further. I work for Reach Beyond, so I am directly involved and invested in these! Mike and Tom have also spent time on Reach Beyond projects and I'm so grateful to have their company on the 90 lock challenge!
