Welcome to my Swim22 profile page for Diabetes UK. As many as 5 million people are living with diabetes in the UK right now. Part of my role at BHR Biosynex involves screening for diabetes. This, combined with the fact that my partner is diabetic, makes this Swim22 challenge very close to my heart. 

My challenge involves swimming 44 miles across the virtual Channel, the equivalent distance to France and back, giving my French colleagues a virtual wave before heading back!
