Hi friend!

I have been selected to volunteer with International Service and so i am going to Bolivia in late September!

International Service (www.internationalservice.org.uk) is a wonderful charity that has been empowering some of the world’s most marginalised people to achieve positive change for more than 60 years. Through working with local partners, they have developed long-term community projects which are having a lasting impact.

 I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to work with them in Bolivia, the poorest nation in Latin America, where women and children are often marginalized and discriminated.

In order to go and help with International Service, I have to fundraise £1500 by:

1) Climbing up Mount Snowdon with a fellow ICS Volunteer (in prep for the mountainous terrain of La Paz)

2) 'Living Below the Line', during which I will be living under the extreme poverty line (£1/day) for 5 days to experience the kind of lifestyle that the people I will be helping face daily. 

3) Bagging at local supermarkets

4) Running a raffle

5) Cake Sales.
