The MAD foundation charity helps people in some of the poorest countries to help themselves. Your money will go to building and renovating schools, pre-schools, orphanages, clinics, water and sanitation systems, and to providing scholarships, workshops and placements throughout Africa, South America, and South East Asia. Every penny raised directly benefits communities in the developing world, with all funds going to community projects for the purchase of building materials and equipment.

MAD is all about action and results. I have chosen this charity because I know people from countries such as these, and the stories they have told me have made me want to help raise awareness and do something about the issue.

So.. Alicia and I will be zip sliding off the Tyne bride in Newcastle on 17th June 2012... IN FANCY DRESS! Any suggestions of what to wear would be much appreciated :) I will upload photos of our fundraising efforts and maybe even some videos....
