Mental Health Awareness Talk with Spill
Even though the world has never been better off empirically speaking, many of us in today’s Western world are becoming increasingly unhappy. This talk delves into reasons why, from the recent (oppotunity cost, warped priorities) to the ancient (how our brains have evolved for survival rather than wellbeing.) It then outlines concepts and practical tools from the fields of life coaching, CBT and psychotherapy that you can use to take your mental wellbeing into your own hands. The ending part of the talk then looks at the most common mental heallth issues during COVID times, including anxiety and burnout.
