Story

Just a little explanation on why I have chosen to fundraise for this charity. This charity is close to my heart. My Grandma Ina (father’s mother) and Grandad Fred (mother’s father) were both diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. I have experienced first hand the impact that this disease has on the individual and the loved ones around them.

Alzheimer’s Society helps people with dementia and also their carers. The money raised helps people retain dignity and to get everything they can out of life. This charity is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day they find a cure,  they look to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Thank you for reading and any donations for this fundraising event is very much appreciated.
