I'm asking for donations to SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals because their mission means a lot to our family.  My father and his close friends helped start the house many years ago. The house opened its doors in 2008 a mere eight weeks before my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Our family did not have to stay at the house because we lived so close to UNC Hospital. We had our own family house a few blocks from this incredible home.  The eight long months we endured going in and out of the hospital going through our cancer journey were truly some of the hardest of our lives.  I am so thankful Family House is here to help other families facing similar life altering experiences.  I hope you consider contributing toward my goal in any amount to help families have a place to stay.
