For my birthday this year I would like to raise money for Simpsons Secial Care Babies, a charity that means so much to our wee family. Our son Matteo was born in March this year and needed extra care after birth. He had an operation after birth then spent 6 weeks in the Neonatal Unit at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. He had the best care possible and showed us what a fighter he is! 

We were greatly helped by the support and facilities that Simpsons Special Care Babies are able to provide to families within the unit and made Matteo's time in hospital much easier for us to manage.

I'd like to help with their Teddy Bears Picnic campaign to allow other babies and parents to get the same care and support we received as a family unit, and show my gratitude for everything they did for us.
