Story
On Wednesday May 25th, 14 members of the Marsh Sport, Entertainment and Media Industry Team are taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge, and aiming to finish in under 24 hours! The challenge will entail summiting Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, a total 23 miles walked and 3,064m climbed in three different countries.
We are looking to raise money for Ambitious About Autism which is the national charity on a mission to make the ordinary possible for children and young people with autism. They provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and campaign for change. Through TreeHouse School, The Rise School and Ambitious College we offer specialist education and support.
Our fundraising efforts will support Employ Autism, a national employability programme which provides paid internships and meaningful work experience opportunities to autistic young people. The Marsh and Ambitious About Autism partnership will raise vital funds for these services, develop our own systems to make truly sustainable changes to everyday practice and provide 30 meaningful work experience placements and champion neurodiversity in the workplace.
As a team we are looking to raise £11,550 (£825 per person). Any donation you can give, whether big or small, will make a huge difference and together we can help young people with autism the chance of a fulfilling future.
The team: Russell Bellinger, Juliet Birrell, Ellie Doubleday, Antonia Hayward, Andrew Hutchinson, Hannah Logan, Dominic Longley, Elliott Mounsey, Harry Plastow, Chris Rhodes, Edel Ryan, Ollie Skailes, Dan Thompson, Richard Tolley
