Story

For anyone that has known me for a long time, they'll know I always used to say I couldn't run... well not much has changed, I still claim I can't run but find myself attempting the Dublin Marathon at the end of Oct!

A couple of years ago my best friend's beautiful mum Jenny Mash was diagnosed with a brain tumour and after a courageous battle sadly passed away this summer.

I really admire how hard she and her family fought, never giving up and never not carrying on whatever was thrown their way. Their strength gives me the determination to get to the end of the 26.2 miles whether running, walking, crawling or shuffling (as some describe my style!)

I would love you to sponsor me with anything you can to donate to Brain Tumour Research to help them in their mission to one day find a cure for this horrific disease.

Thank you for your support.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
