Story

I ran the Brighton 10k for the University of Brighton's Student Potential Fund. Thank you everyone who donated. If you’d like to join them please do support me on my journey.

Personally, as a novice runner, who started the couch to 5k challenge in February 2021, this will be my first offical 10k race - and the furthest I will have run to date. I'm excited and a little daunted by taking on this challenge. I've spent most of my life saying, "I'm not built for running!", but I've found myself pushing harder and going further than I ever thought possible. Your support will help me achieve my biggest running goal yet!

Professionally, as the Director of the Philanthropy & Alumni team here at Brighton, I wanted to take up a challenge that we are asking other people to do to help us raise funds for the Student Potential Fund.

The Student Potential Fund has been set up to make sure that current and future students studying at Brighton get the support they need to reach their full potential.

By supporting me, you'll be helping:
- Create scholarships for those who need them most
- Train students to be Wellbeing Ambassadors providing peer support to others
- Provide grants to help students participate in their university life, build employability through placements and volunteering, or kick-start their business ides.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Your support will help me over the finish line, and help hundreds of Brighton students achieve their full potential.

Thank you.
