Hi my name is Marley I'm a 16 month old Morkie (Maltese cross yorkie) and I'm all 2.5 kgs of cute love!
I have a very special little friend who suffers with this awful illness ME, Makayla was such a active person dancing, drama, swimming, baton twirling horse riding my mum says Makayla couldn't keep still ! then things changed and my special friend became ill school hours reduced gave up her hobbies so much of Makayla's little life changed.
5 years on and at the age of 13 Makayla still has to manage her life because the beast they call ME is still not got the hint its not welcome!! so many other people suffer with this illness some have to take life easy some like a few of our special friends are sadly bedridden due to this illness, a illness that destroys lives, it doesn't care about age race sex it takes no mercy! well we are going to show this beast its picked on the wrong people and with the help of Invest In ME (IiME) we can show it who's boss but to do this we need to support IiME so hey can do research.
That's where I come into it!! Makayla has done so well with raising money in the last 2 years shes had amazing support and raised over £3,330.00 but this year shes had a bit of a set back then got the deeded flu ! so this year I will take Makayla's place and i will be doing a sponsored swim to raise funds . My swim will be 20 minutes in a special dog hydrotherapy rehabilitation pool that my vet has agreed to, its also raising funds for Marie Curie as I'm part of a team but we felt that i could also use this as my contribution for Walk for ME . any money raised via this page will go to Invest In ME .
keep a eye on Makayla's facebook page Makaylas-fundraising-For-ME- for photos of my swim.
Thank you for supporting me and with your help we can make difference for so many people.
lots of love and licks Marley
