A big thank you to all who supported me in this event. I had a great time - gave my all and just missed out on the 2 hour mark, but even the winner found that hill hard going!!!

More importantly the money raised will bring relief to those who have nothing.

Even in these tough economic times I am conscious of those who really have nothing to live on through poverty or disaster. That's why I am running the BUPA Great Birmingham Run this year for TEAR Fund who seek to bring relief to those in poverty.

I completed the race in 2009 and am hoping this year to break the 2 hour mark (it's going to be close I think). I am sure the atmosphere will be terrific and we will have a great time anyway.
