I am running this year's Manchester 10k for the Christie because of the care they gave my wife when she was diagnosed with cancer late in 2019. She endured intensive treatment from December 2019 until March 2020. The staff at The Christie were devoted and passionate in their care and helped us through the most challenging time in our lives.

I haven't done any running since I was a teenager, so it is 'couch to 10k' for me! I am doing some training but my main aim is to complete the course without stopping and to raise some money for a worthy cause.
