Thank you for sponsoring me. As you can see above I exceeded my personal target - well actually you exceeded my personal target so well done to all of you. Your donations will be used to make life a lot easier for some very unfortunate children. As a team we estimate that we will have raised approximately £5,500 when all contributions/pledges have been received. 

The event went well and fortunately the rain stayed away - it was a bit cold but I was well wrapped up (thermals, ski socks, 2 hats and at least 4 layers of clothing). We met Jenny Agutter (actress) who is a patron for Action for Children and she slept out too - unfortunately for us (Alan in particular), she was nowhere near us. The organisers estimated there were over 300 people sleeping rough ! Sleeping might be a bit of an exaggeration though - I reckon we got no more than a couple of hours sleep throughout the whole night. We were disturbed at least 2 or 3 times. One time in particular when a rather inebriated gentleman decided he wanted to share our spot and more particularly, Alan's sleeping bag. We politely encouraged him to leave us alone. The next morning we discovered he was a journalist who was supposed to be reporting on the event !
