Mark vs Wilmslow Triathlon
Fundraising for Anthony Nolan
Fundraising for Anthony Nolan
Hi everyone,
On Sunday 17 May, I will take part in the Wilmslow Sprint Triathlon in aid of Anthony Nolan – which is a blood cancer charity, and not just a mate who is in need a few extra quid.
This involves me completing a 400metre swim, a 24.2km cycle and a 6.3km run through the (hopefully) quiet surroundings of Wilmslow, Ashley and Mobberley. It will also require me to wear an exceptionally tight tri-suit, which adds an element of embarrassment to proceedings. Please don't come to watch!
Anyway, it’s not the hardest challenge in the world, and you probably get loads of charity requests, but I feel it’s a good excuse to raise a bit of money for a cause that really needs some help and attention. If I raise £50 then that's £50 they didn't have. If it's £500, then that's incredible.
Here's the legal bit... Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
