Story
FINAL UPDATE BEFORE RACE (Friday night)- Thanks to all you wonderful sponsors. All set for Sunday and ready... need to get some rest now!
UPDATE 3 weeks before Marathon - Well just a few weeks to go and its all systems go for the 26th. This is a bit of a miracle as due to knee injury mid February and subsequent diagnosis from a physio I almost deferred my place. However, amazingly after a few weeks rest, it seems OK and am presently trying to make up for the lost training (not the greatest idea!)
Anyway, still running for for Mercy Ships, an amazing charity who transform needy peoples lifes with urgent surgery.
They provide medical care that we can take for granted - this is a worthy cause - PLEASE SPONSOR ME (Watch the video on left of page to save you reading all the words below)
Although I have run a few races, I have previously not asked for sponsorship as I have waited until I got a place in the London Marathon- and here we are London Marathon 2009!!
