Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During 2013 I fasted for a day to understand what some of my Muslim volunteers and staff went through when fasting. I announced on twitter that I would try and raise some money towards helping Victim Support and Tell Mama UK during Ramadan 2014.

I work for Victim Support in the East Midlands. I have specialist skills in Hate Crime & Anti Social Behaviour and help Victim Support work in partnership with Tell Mama and support Victim Support in its hatecrime work..

All to often I see the damaging effects of hate crime on people, Mothers, parents, and children. Your money can really help make the difference to someone affected by hate crime. I see the value of the work around hate crime, and providing support to victims of it.

Tell Mama UK are dealing with a massive spike in Anti-Muslim hatred all around the UK.

Any money you can spare will be split between both organisations to help provide much needed support to victims of hate crimes.

If you want to find out more about the work of Victim Support - please visit them at Victim Support

If you want to find out more about the work of Tell Mama UK - please visit them at Tell Mama UK

Lastly thank you for what ever you can donate, as every penny will count towards helping victims of hate crimes.
