Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Update - SORRY - I have now picked up an injury (lateral collateral ligament tear) strongly advised to not compete in the Paris marathan, although i have lost money on flights and hotels i will continue to raise money for this charity throughout the year. As an alternative i will be running the Leeds half mararthon (13 may), My son will run the kids 2.5k to raise funds. I will also run the Tenby full marathon (10 June) and Total Warrior 10 mile (5 Aug).
I was diagnosed with Cancer in 2010, I truely thought my time was up, but luckily, after my operation they told me the cancer had not spread. I continue to attend hospital for on going CT scans / X-rays and will do for the next 3 years, as it can return at any time. I am one of the lucky ones..I survived, many others don't. I meet a lot of Cancer patients on the ward who show great strength and determination to survive and by raising money at least I and you who give can say we are helping. I have experienced first hand the good work Yorkshire Cancer Centre do and know the money raised will fund Cancer research and Cancer treatment and will benefit everyone affected, in all walks of life and at any age. Thank you very much. x..
