Story

I want to raise money for Joey Jenkins and his inspirational father Chris. Joey is 7years old and has medicine resistant epilepsy, cortical visual impairment and severe global development delay. Joey has an unknown condition that is life limited. Joey has had these conditions all of his life and is unable to walk, talk or do anything for himself.

Up until last year Joey had overnight care and a direct payments package - now despite his serious condition he has no support from social or from continuing care. The health board changed and despite Joey's condition staying the same, care was completely taken away, not even one night a week.

Lockdown or no lockdown I will run an Ultra-marathon on Sat 21st November whether it is in the Black Mountains in Wales or somewhere more local to me. I've never run further than 20 miles in training so this is going to be a big challenge for me!

Please donate what you can and support Joey and his family.

Thank you for taking the time to read.
