We provide free high quality care & support to people who are terminally ill.

Story

When I was a kid I used to be send out each year on my bike to post letters around Exeter. The problem was that we lived in a really hilly bit of Exeter. Unlike my homework (which on one occasion ended up down the drain) I delivered every letter - even the ones at the top of the hills - it was important.

I did not understand at the time that my Dad was starting a charity that would transform both life and death for many many people.

The Charity is Hospiscare and they started caring for the terminally ill in homes over 30 years ago and now have a 12 bed hospice in Exeter and can care for over 700 people at any one time.

As an adult my work has often taken me into hospices and I have seen first hand the excellent care given as life draws to a close.

So it is a real privilege to be able to run in support of Hospiscare Exeter 30 years on.

This will be my third marathon (4.22 and 4.08) and I am training hard to beat my previous times. I will be running with my mum (71) and brother.

Please give generously and leave me a note of support.
