Story
On October 10th a group of eight of us started our attempt to climb Kilimanjaro and on 15th October at about 8.12am we all reached the summit. At the top it was between -10 and -20 degrees at a height of 19,340 feet (5895meters) above sea level. The training paid off and we all had a dose of altitude sickness, some worse than others. It is safe to say that this is probably the most physically challenging activity we've done in our lives.
We all paid our own way for our combined mid life crisis and are raising some money for a good cause at the same time. St Pauls is a local charity in Worcester that helps homelessness and its causes and will put your kind donations to good use so thank you in anticipation of giving generously.
