As many of you will know last year I undertook my LONG WALK HOME (26 miles a day, for 26 days - Lands End home to Halifax) and raised over £26K to support those with and help find a cure for cancer.

This year I'm taking on a more sedate challenge, and given the amazing support of friends, families and colleagues last year have a significantly reduced fundraising target this year. I am however still keen to do my bit and raise money in memory of Rebecca and in support of Cancer Research UK to help beat cancer sooner - therefore any donation you are able to contribute no matter how large or small is very much appreciated - Thank You!

 In august 1994 we found out that my sister Rebecca had skin cancer (a malignant melanoma). The cancer was a relatively rare and aggressive strained despite treatment Rebecca died just 16 weeks later aged 27. Since Rebecca's death and as a result of ongoing research there have been significant enhancements in raising awareness, diagnosis and treatment meaning that far fewer people now die There have been significant advancements in
