In December 2014  my wife, Jane, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. She received chemotherapy and achieved remission. Unfortunately just a few months later the leukaemia returned and Jane required a stem cell transplant to survive. Thankfully one year on Jane remains in remission, but only thanks to the pioneering work carried out by blood cancer charities like Bloodwise. That is why I have chosen to ride for them this year.

Bloodwise are the UK's specialist blood cancer charity. They've been working to beat blood cancer since 1960. They fund world-class research; provide practical and emotional support to patients and their loved ones; and raise awareness of blood cancer.
