Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of our families, including my own, unfortunately are or will be impacted by cancer at some point. Prof Steve Heys, an eminent cancer specialist based in Aberdeen, and a number of his colleagues are cycling the gruelling North Coast 500 route, including the UK's highest pass, the Bealach na Ba, to  raise funds to create a world leading cancer research capability within a new cancer research center that is being built in Aberdeen.

My wife, Gillian,  kindly volunteered me to take part which, despite not being much of a cyclist,  I am absolutely delighted to do given the very worthy cause. Just trying to work out how to take my surfboard with me giving we will be cycling past some of the UK’s best waves ! Any support would be very gratefully received.
