Story

Mark died just a few weeks after being diagnosed with cancer, and from the very beginning was clear that he wanted to spend his final days in a hospice.  He knew this would be the best place - for him and for me.  After leaving hospital he spent some precious days at home seeing family and close friends, but was both relieved and happy when he was offered a room at Isabel Hospice.

Mark spent his last eight days in the hospice, and was overwhelmed by the care they took of both of us.  Mark being Mark, he still managed to be concerned about how much it was costing for him to be there, and he made me promise to set up this page in his memory so that other people can benefit in the way that we did.

However you knew him, I hope you will be able to give something in memory of the inimitable Mark Mitchell.
