It’s Tuesday 7 February as I write this and I’ve just been given a place in the London marathon running for Team PB. When I agreed to go on the reserve list back in November I didn’t think I’d actually end up with a place as was low down on the list. Nonetheless, here I am about to start an intensive and no doubt painful ten weeks of training in an effort to get across the finish line on 22 April.

Breast Cancer Care is a charity close to my heart as I have, like so many others, lost someone close to me to this most common of cancers. All money I raise will be split 50/50 between The Prostate Cancer and Breast Cancer Care charities and go towards supporting people affected by these diseases.
