I feel privileged to be running for such a brilliant charity as DebRA and have committed to raising £3000, even if I have to put my hand in my pocket and make up the balance.

DebRA is the national charity working on behalf of people in the UK with the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). It's a dreadful condition for which a cure will bring massive relief to those who suffer. For more, please go to  www.debra.org.uk

Well I made it round the course - a miracle - as I hadn't trained for 6 weeks and my physio had to patch me up to get to the start line! 

I'm part way through my personal challenge of running the 5 world marathon majors by Autumn 2011, when I will be coming up for 59 years young!
