So now its all over, thank you for everyone who sponsored me and sent me encouraging messages.  I couldn't believe that there were 27,000 runners who took part. We were queuing up Piccadily as far as the eye could see. I was quite near the front so it was amazing to look back and see the mass of heads waiting to start. 

 

So I completed my race in 1 hour 4 minutes, and enjoyed every step. Its not too late to add a few pounds to the funds raised so far if you like, thanks for your support.
