We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

At some point you or somebody you love is likely to be affected by mental health issues, dementia or a life-limiting illness like cancer. That’s why the work of Mind, Dementia UK and St Anne’s Hospice are so important. Will you support our efforts to raise money for these fantastic causes? Over the next six months a group of colleagues from AJ Bell's Marketing Team; Kirsty, Anya, Natalie, Peter and Harry will be taking on several tough hikes across the UK, including timed epics like the National Three Peaks, and Yorkshire Three Peaks challenges. Many of our group are new to walking, but together we’re discovering the huge mental and physical health benefits that exercising in the outdoors can bring. If we can help to raise money for vital causes in the process, all the better! *We plan to distribute the money equally amongst the charities, however don't hesitate to donate to the one that is closest to your heart. Where will the challenge take us? Mam Tor (11km) | January Hayfield to Kinder Reservoir (16km) | February Helvellyn (13km) | March Kinder Scout from Edale (16km) | April Snowdon (12km) | May Cheshire Three Peaks (24km) | May Yorkshire Three Peaks 12hr challenge (40km) | June Scafell Pike (15km) | June Ben Nevis (16km) | July National Three Peaks 24hr Challenge (37km + driving) | August *It's highly likely that this list will continue to grow!
