Story
Here goes, my Dad was diagnosed in late Autumn 2007 and unfortunately passed away in April 2008. Then in summer of 2018 we found out that Mum was also battling (albeit detected at an earlier stage thanks to the screening process).
I turned 40 in 2020 and fancied doing another little jog. I like to pick runs that not everyone will have done, because I'm a bit of a running hipster to be honest. I'll be keeping everyone updated on my training and post run adventures. So spare me a sheckle, my company matches £ for £ the the first £1k. Apparently something happened in 2020 that prevented me completing the marathon so they had to move it a little bit.
In unforeseen circumstances I've been lucky in a ballot. Luck sadly missing for cup final tickets. So I'm doing another jog around Chicago in October 2022. Chicago was the best of times in 2015 when I ran my half marathon PB. No pressure then
