My sister, Kelly, lives with Pulmonary Hypertension, a condition that impacts her breathing everyday in much the same way a person without the condition would be effected by being on Everest.
Imagine that - everyday. 🏔
I’m not fit or indeed brave enough to tackle Everest but with the spirit of this in mind, I’d like to at least get to the top (and back down) of Ben Nevis - the “mountain with its head in the clouds” - the highest in the UK at over four thousand feet
I would aim to get up and back down within 8 hours with the assistance of a mountain guide to ensure I don’t stray too close to the edge as visibility and the weather in general can be challenging for inexperienced people.
I would therefore like to raise money for the PH UK charity who do great work to raise awareness for this very serious disease.
