We have not all had first hand experience of serious illness but we may know a loved one who has gone through such a trauma. Just knowing that there are organisations out there like Marie Curie who can be there at just such times provides immense comfort and reassurance.

I, Melissa, was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago and whilst I was lucky that it was detected early and my prognosis very positive to date, my cancer could have gone down a much more serious path. Having the knowledge that there are organisations like Marie Curie somehow takes away some of the anguish and fear that you experience at such a confusing time.

Mark and I are aiming for a fundraising target of £250 and hope you are able to help us in achieving this amount. We thank you for your support.
