Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

during the last years I have battled with a spine injury, three fractured vertebrae and damaged discs. This has meant my mobility has been seriously impaired. I have had more procedures on my back than I can remember. I have had many treatments from acupuncture to physiotherapy. My Physio encouraged me to cycle, help build some core strength and help me get better mobility. Josh, my son has joined me cycling, at first reluctantly, but now he's pushing me to do more. Early 2014 he talked me into a charity ride for the BHF, we did that, and thank those that supported us. And now we aim to tackle something tougher this time we take on 75 miles of singletrack, forest tracks, cycle paths and some bridal ways on a cat 4 route. This is a personal challenge, and hopefully we can raise some money on the way. The journey to the ride has started.....  Follow our adventure on facebook.. But during our first journey I looked into The BHF and was amazed by what they do, who they help.. And as a parent I don't know how you'd cope with your baby needing heart surgery.. But the BHF have helped many children get through. This has helped encourage me to take part again and do something I can do to raise money for a very worthy cause. And I hope many of you can help us raise some more money.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
