Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Throughout 2014 we will be completing multiple events, aiming to push our boundaries while raising money for a worthy cause.
Joseph Kendrick is four year's old and has NKH, (Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia), a very rare life-limiting genetic disorder that severely affects his development.
Joseph's Goal is a charity set up to increase awareness of NKH and to raise funds for research to find better treatments and eventually a cure. We are supporting Dr Johan Van Hove at the University of Colorado, who is the world leader in researching this condition. Because it is so rare and so little research has been done, literally every penny raised can and will make a difference.
Parents Paul and Emma say '' Joe has shown us he wants to fight all the way, and we are determined to fight on his behalf to help create awareness of this devastating condition, find better treatments for him and other children with NKH, and, hopefully find a cure''.
Below is a list of the events I will be completing during 2014:
Saturday 29th March (Mark, Alison and Aaron) - Walk for Joseph
On Saturday March 29th 2014, Wigan Athletic travel the short distance to Horwich to face Championship rivals and near neighbours Bolton Wanderers. On the morning of the 29th March, prior to the game, there will be a large number of people walking the six miles from the DW Stadium in Wigan to the Reebok Stadium in Horwich, to raise awareness of NKH and raise funds for the Josephs Goal Appeal.
