On Thursday 6th June i'll be setting off once again to cycle from London to Paris. Covering 460km, I will be setting off from Greenwich Park in London and arriving in Paris on the 10th June, having passed through Dover, Calais, Abbeville and Beauvais.

I completed a similar ride last year, but this time it's far more personal - I'll be raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research which you can read about in 'My Charity' section on this page.

My Mother was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in November 2011.

Needless to say, it was a worrying time for our family and friends - but we were not alone, thousands of people and their families are affected by this disease, but until it affects you directly you cannot prepare for the emotions you experience.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research began research into blood cancers in 1960 and are focused on finding causes, improving diagnosis and treatments, and running ground-breaking clinical trials for all blood cancer patients.

They are now leaders in the field and patients are benefiting from their ground-breaking research.

This is why I have decided to cycle from London to Paris again, to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and help them continue with the outstanding work they do. 

I know money is tight for everyone these days, but please can I ask you to donate as much as you can - everything that you donate will go directly to the charity, I have paid my own expenses to do the ride, and every little bit will make a huge difference. If you are a UK taxpayer please take advantage of the Gift Aid option.
