Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a keen cyclist I am always looking for new challenges & although 2020 has seen many restrictions put in place, I did purchase a bicycle dog carrier that has significantly changed many of my rides as well as putting smiles on the faces of many other cyclists, pedestrians and even car drivers! What started as short rides has progressed to riding 1300 dog miles in just over 4 months - longest ride to-date at 75 miles.

I recently entered the New Forest 100-mile sportive event and the organisers have now invited Bella to join me on this ride. So together we will conquer this ride and achieve our first 100-miles together. I think that a dog taking part in an event like this could be a National first.....

...so what a better way to also try and raise money for a worthwhile cause, aimed at the vital research required to try and cure the horrible cancer disease - that has affected so many people - either directly or of those we know of that have suffered and even passed away from this illness. My father, several friends and just recently 2 work colleagues have all lost their lives in such a bad and sad manner.

Please help me in supporting this charity & giving me the extra help I need to complete my challenge.

Thanks

Mark.
