Well who'd have thought I'd ever do a Marathon? And they say the Loch Ness is a bit of a Monster. Very hilly. I expect to be pushed beyond where I thought my limit was, which is not going to be fun. Stopping at the end will be fab though!

I'd like this exceptional and unlikely to be repeated event to be put to some good use, so I'm raising money for SightSavers Intenational. They take modern and remarkably reasonably priced technology to the less developed parts of the world where it can do huge amounts of good. For example a child can be saved from River Blindness by the use of an ointment costing pennies and even a cataract operation costs under £20. I think sight is a wonderful gift which is infinitely valuable and so worth saving. Please be as generous as you can afford and think just how much joy your donation may bring.
