We close orphanages & reform care systems to get separated children Back to Family

Story

Wonderful People!

This year the incredible Fun Loving Criminal, Huey, will be committing crimes against sport and dragging my carcass around our annual sprint triathlon.

I will once again be fueled by my trusty Yorkshire pudding and bacon based sports diet. This training regime is already in full throttle. In fact, for the first time, I am introducing a gravy based nutritional supplement. So Huey, do yer worst!

Over the past fifteen years, the event has raised a staggering £1.6 million, enabling us to save the lives of many children, and to enable many more to grow up with the love and protection of a family.

We are achieving this by closing down orphanages, which we do by demonstrating and then helping governments to put in place services to reform systems sustainably. We do this in some of the most challenging locations, in a way that prevents the separation of children from their families in the first place, or provides alternative family care arrangements for those children who need it.

Every single pound we raise counts.

Please do give as generously as you can.

Thank you!

5.4 million children across the world are currently trapped in orphanages – even though 80% of them have family they could live with if they had the right support. Orphanages harm children, depriving them of love and exposing them to abuse. Your support helps us get children to back to family.
