This all started with a casual interest in a boxing class in my local gym. Forever suggestible, I was quickly sold on the idea of realising my boyhood day dreams of being Rocky Balboa for the night. Having just moved to Crewe it was exactly what I was looking for, 12 weeks of intense training with 20 other ‘fighters’, all of which had never done any boxing before. Then on 21^st August, step in a ring in Greg’s Nightclub in Nantwich in front of my friends and family and show off what I’ve learned. All of this while raising money for a great cause. It sounded perfect!

So now we have all been spurred on by each other, and not wanting to get knocked out in front of our mates, and having been training hard for the past 2 months. And where we have been working hard, Steve from Fitness first has been working even harder. He’s been working round the clock dedicating his blood, sweat and tears, as well as his own money, into making this night a success. We need your help to raise as much money for the great cause as possible. If you want to be there on the night, contact me for a ticket.
