Story
This will be our third Smeaton's 48 hour Charity Fishing Event raising money for a cause that will forever be so important to each one of us - Kidney Research UK. Again, this event is being held in memory of an amazing wife, mother, nana, sister and friend, Clare, who is dearly missed by all.
On Saturday 8th July 2023, six of us (Mark, Matty, Andy, Tony Preston, David Parker and Jonathan Dunnell) will take part in our 48 hour fishing competition, with family and friends joining to provide their support again.
Those taking part will be fishing for the 'Clare Tate Memorial Trophy' currently held by Mark.
