Those of you that know me will agree that I usually talk balls. Now it's time for me to raise some money for them!

For the whole of November I will be going all David Bellamy. No, I'm not going to be hanging around in bushes looking for wildlife, I'm growing a beard. That's right, I'm steering clear of the razor and shaving gel to take part in what has now become known as Movember.

You may think that this is a bit lame and not much of a hardship. Think again!! My beard is not a pretty sight and I will be suffering daily everytime I have to look at myself in the mirror. It consists of several different colours, none of which would be considered desirable (See image for proof that I look less than great with facial hair).

To add to this, my wife hates me with a beard. She will be moaning at me even more than she usually does, and trying to coax me into shaving it off. She may even resort to violence.

In fact, when I reach December 1st, I'm thinking of threatening to keep the beard until Ayesha buys me a new iPad (Those of you who know Ayesha will now be expecting me to be permanently adorned with facial hair).
