Fifteen years ago, my father in law Nigel Lawrence was involved in a serious fall from height.  Nigel made a remarkable recovery against the odds but acquired life changing injuries to his brain.  

There is very little support available for people in Nigel's position, nor for their carers such as my mother in law, June, despite the far reaching consequences of such injuries on their lives.
