This year is going to be tough for all of us, with household bills skyrocketing beyond what many families can afford. But just imagine the fear of eviction if you can no longer afford your rent? Where would you go? That's the reality for 274,000 people in the UK; people, deserving of care and a secure roof over their heads.

I am taking part in the CEO Sleepout as I want to raise as much awareness and money as possible to help fight against homelessness and poverty in our area.

I believe homelessness and poverty shouldn’t exist in this day and age but sadly it does. Supporting our own and our community is what we do best in Middlesbrough and the wider Tees Valley area. I am very passionate about my home area and sleeping outside one night is the least I can do to hopefully give someone a chance in life.
