Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

Boo was 23 years old when she lost her battle with depression.

Depression is a terrible disease.  A disease that needs a lot more acknowledgement as a medical condition.  Depression is a mood disorder that causes intermittent feelings of sadness and a loss of interest. It affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems in the lows.  Feeling guilty, or worthless; feeling a loss of confidence; and sometimes feeling as if life isn't worth living.  Depression is more than just a bout of the blues,  it is not a weakness.  It is a terrible illness.

All donations made for my attempt at Movember are going to Papryus.   Boo ran a 10k run to raise money for this charity some years ago; we also held a collection for Papryus at her funeral.

I wanted to do something that Boo would have found crazy, silly, and funny.  She would had laughed loudly at the idea of me with a moustache, hence why I am attempting to grow one throughout the month of November!

Thank you for you generosity
