As many of you know, my wife runs Roundhouse Barn Holidays on The Roseland Peninsula.  Our business welcomes tourists to holiday in Cornwall all year round. 

For holiday makers and locals it's terrific to explore the beautiful scenery that Cornwall has to offer.  But if the worst happens, the Cornwall Air Ambulance will be there for us - provided we continue to ensure it remains financially viable. 

I also use Newquay Airport every week to commute to London to work; and I've always wondered what it would be like to take a closer look at the runway! 

By participating in this 10k run, I will get the chance to explore every nook and cranny of the runway - twice up and twice back - hopefully in about 60-70 minutes dodging planes taking off and landing...
