Somehow I convinced former England Rugby Captain and founder of The Foundation, Lewis Moody to let me join him and his team on his next mega challenge – a bespoke triathlon in aid of a fantastic cause

The 4 day bespoke triathlon will be a demanding journey through the ‘Grand Canyon of Europe’ by kayak and on foot before cycling over 200km to the south coast of France. To be totally frank, It's very clear from the itinerary that this will push me beyond my personal physical limits as well as forcing me to face up to my fear of heights. I'm also not keen on the river aspect either so as I type this I'm asking myself what on earth I have signed up to! 

Still, a nice easy 200km bike ride to finish should be fun, right? 

Every penny we raise through sponsorship can help to raise awareness of brain tumours in children and young people through the award winning and more importantly life-saving HeadSmart campaign.  Earlier diagnosis can save lives and reduce long term,life altering disabilities as mum Claire Lloyd told us, "Tuesday noon I saw the HeadSmart website and by lunchtime my son's tumour had been found and he'd had surgery.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - that information saved his life."
