Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The reason I along with several members of my family are doing this walk is simple and can be put into one word. FAMILY.

The walk is in memory our mum Dot Ratcliffe who died on 04.07.2010. Our dad Maurice Ratcliffe who died on 18.05.2008 and John Woods (Spudder), who was not only the best man at my wedding he was also my best friend. John died on 23.07.2009.

All three of these people died of cancer and both my mum and John were looked after by the staff at Willowbrook Hospice.

I personally cannot thank the staff at the hospice enough for what they did for mum and John. Nothing was any trouble and they made us feel at ease throughout the whole time my family spent there.

Please give as much or as little as you can as it all helps.

Many Thanks.

Its amazing what a difference we can make.
